lida daidaihua Allow You to Lose Weight?
When people choose to diet and pursue to lose weight often times so does their language. There are words that are strongly associated with weight loss and dieting. Words have powerful meanings associated with them. It's these meanings that we have attached to words that dictate the feelings we will express about what we are trying to describe. When it comes to weight loss, emotions are the most powerful source of whether someone is making progress or not. More importantly, how we feel about ourselves.
Let's take a look at some words that prevent us from losing weight.
I can't...
I can't lose weight. I can't eat healthy. I can't do this or I can't do that.
When you use the word I can't that is exactly what you are programming into your head. You are feeding instructions to it and your brain is interpreting it as you can't do what you are programming it.
I try...
I try to eat healthy. I try to exercise. What trying implies is not making a full commitment and opening the option for failure. You don't try to eat healthy. You just do. No one says, "I tried to eat unhealthy over the weekend." Now doesn't that sound silly?
